Nohm Candles would like to thank Sandra Bullock for her appearance on the Oprah show where she introduced the Bessence line of soy based candles. Her appearance increased the publics awareness about the toxicity of paraffin candles and lead based wicks. We at Nohm candles have developed a line of soy candles that are lead free and 100% Natural wax as opposed to a “soy blend” which contains other non-natural waxes such as the petroleum based paraffin that are easier to manufacture at reduced costs to the company.
